Mahsa graduated as an architect in 2011 at the University of Applied Sciences and Technology in Iran, and attended several courses for master’s students at the University of Toronto – Canada. She completed her master’s degree in Urban Development and Urban Design at the University of Stavanger in 2018.
She has many years of experience as an architect and has worked on several different projects. For a period, she worked at Stavanger Municipality in the department of byggesak and byantikvar, which has given her good insight into the process of building applications.
Mahsa has been painting in various genres and techniques over the past 25 years. She uses her paintings as an inspiration in most of her interior design projects. Her good knowledge of colours, shapes and visual aspects helps her to shape the architecture which has unique spatial characters and expressions.
She established MHS Arkitektur & Design AS in July 2020. The company mainly provides architecture and interior design services for both private clients and companies engaged in building design. The company has also taken various illustration and visualization works, including Stavanger municipality’s “Pedersgata Hus for Hus” under the supervision of Byantikvaren.
MHS Arkitektur & Design AS can contribute in all phases, from concept to detailed design of buildings. Her main focus is to create architecture that has its own characteristics and identity, as well as sustainable and functional solutions that are adapted to the both client’s everyday life and environment.
